Well, we had a white Christmas alright. Arkansas was covered with ice. In addition we had 5 sick kids and one sick parent. The Westies went from one child's bed to the other napping with them and making them feel better. Hannah was my right hand checking on people, bringing them things and helping me cook. Then the electricity went out. We knocked down icicles for water and lit up the candles and kerosene lamps. But, thank the Lord, everyone got well, the lights came back on and we actually had a good time -- at least, a time we'll never forget. The ice melted and everyone got back home safely.
